Set on a peninsula overlooking their three-acre pond in Medina, Ohio, David and Lucia Greene’s log home was an unexpected yet perfect change of plans. After struggling to design a traditional home, inspiration struck when they visited Lucia’s sister’s log home. Working with Hochstetler Log Homes, they created a custom design featuring a wrap-around porch, an open-concept great room with expansive glass, and thoughtful details like painted cabinetry and neutral fireplace tones. Surrounded by Lucia’s vibrant flowers and reflecting their love for nature, this home became more than a dream—it became the perfect place to call home.
