DeAngelo Log Home

Phil and Ashley DeAngelo’s log home journey was years in the making, but their persistence paid off with a dream home in the countryside of Ohio. After setbacks and surprises—including losing, then regaining, their ideal property—they worked with Hochstetler Log Homes to design a custom build based on the McKay model. Featuring 8x8 logs, butt-and-pass corners, an open cathedral ceiling, and a cozy loft, their home perfectly balances their must-haves. Built by W&W Yoder Construction, the home is as solid and efficient as they imagined—proof that staying committed to a dream is always worth it.
